Sony HDV 1080i camera

The Sony HVR-Z1U 1/3-Inch 3-CCD HDV Professional Widescreen Mini Camcorder records and plays HDV, DVCAM and DV Formats in 60i, 24p, and 25p. Great for clients who need an HD quality picture but have little space to place the camera. Also good when you want a lower profile on the street. Picture quality is very good and edits well with other HD footage.

Scriptboy Wireless Timecode Display System

The Scriptboy Wireless Timecode Display System is the ideal production assistant's assistant. It provides a large, clear readout of timecode from the camera at distances up to 250 feet (75 m), without cables, and without having to ask the cameraman: " What's the code ? " A small battery-powered transmitter is attached to the camera and fed with timecode. This is transmitted to the Scriptboy clipboard which decodes the signal for display. The display can be frozen so that accurate timecode can be recorded on continuity notes or script.

Kino Flo's DIVA-LITE 400

We've recently purchased two of these softlights. They're ideal for interior lighting. Each fixture with a full-range dimmer can run tungsten or daylight-balanced lamps. The long-life lamps are cool to the touch, so they won't overheat your subject. Rapid drop-off from the soft light won't wash out the background on tight shots. Energy-efficient ballasts can draw as little as half an Amp.
